Field Technicians Use Tablet Computers for Efficient Collection of Facility Data
The BAISCA method for executing field assessments utilizing tablet computers provides portable access to survey instruments and data specifically prepared for each project. Prior to departing each school location, data is uploaded to BAISCA servers for analysis and report generation. Additional field assessment data, including timestamps and GPS coordinates for each survey, is enabled using wireless capabilities resident in the iPad.
Operating from a single platform offers enormous levels of consistency and uniformity with collected data as well as the development of reports. Multiple technicians working through the district are able to move quickly and efficiently using the tablet computer to guide and standardize Building Asset Inventories and Single Component Assessments.
